Designed by custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel Recon Hawk is a robust, multi-functional tool perfect for throwing, outdoor and combat use. A piercing spike pole sits opposite the sweeping edge of the head all made from rugged 65Mn carbon steel with black powder coating. A textured nylon handle and articulated Secure-Ex polymer sheath make this a versatile and functional chopping tool whatever your use.

Head: Head and full tang handle are made from 65Mn carbon steel built for the durability required for throwing while having a geometry for a decisive stick in the target. You get twice the chance of sticking the target thanks to the piercing spike pole. Black powder coating gives it a non-reflective look and helps prevent corrosion.

Handle: Straight and simple the full tang handle supports textured nylon scales for a secure grip, low maintenance weather resistance and durability. The texture balanced for smooth release when throwing while being secure for chopping use. A pommel hole allows for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a patented, articulated Secure-Ex polymer sheath with snap closure.

65Mn Carbon Steel: Simple, relatively low-carbon steel used in large, heavy-duty knives, throwing knives or chopping tools when toughness is the highest priority. Manganese added for enhanced performance.
