The large blade has excellent reach with plenty of cutting edge to chop through brush, vines and saplings and a prominent D-guard to protect your hands while chopping. This tool has a working edge with a blade heavy design that adds more power to each swing for incredible efficiency in cutting.

Blade: Made from simple 1055 carbon steel with a spring temper, the blade is virtually unbreakable and easy to sharpen to a fine edge with the flex required to handle light, springy vegetation. The entire +18-inch blade has been baked in a black anti-rust matte finish to help resist corrosion and reduce reflections.

Handle: The finely textured and contoured handle is designed for a secure, low fatigue grip and friction free chopping. A large D-guard protects the hand while engaged in heavy chopping tasks and a generous hole allows for a lanyard to be attached for added security. The polymer construction is lightweight, durable and impervious to the elements.

Sheath: Carries via a Cor-Ex nylon belt sheath with reinforced end, rivet construction and snap closure. 

1055 Carbon Steel: Simple, relatively low-carbon steel used in large, heavy-duty knives, throwing knives or chopping tools when toughness is the highest priority.
