Made tough from 1060 carbon tool steel and burnt American Hickory handle, the Condor Tool & Knife Indian Throwing Tomahawk delivers a traditional trade pattern axe ideal for throwing. A great size for hiking or backpacking, this tomahawk also works well for light chopping tasks like removing limbs for trail clearing and fire making.

Head: 1060 carbon tool steel is heat treated to optimize toughness, especially important for rigors of a throwing hawk. The head is forge finished on the sides with a medium polish on the 3″ convex ground bit (edge) for a solid stick and added durability.

Handle: The handle is made from a solid piece of durable burnt American Hickory, offers nearly 17″ in length in a straight taper to the pommel for smooth release when throwing. Fitted through the eye like a pickaxe for better absorption of vibration and added resilience.

Carries via a leather belt loop with matching snap closure blade cover.
