The Condor Tool & Knife Swedish Pattern Axe has a 3.5 Lb head made from 1060 Carbon Tool Steel and an American Hickory Handle. This axe pattern makes an efficient, multipurpose tool that can handle chopping, felling and splitting with ease. The Swedish Pattern Axe comes with a high quality leather bit cover for safe carry. The classic, curved handle design ensures a smooth swing and ergonomically efficient operation to keep you chopping until the completion of the task.

Head: 1060 Carbon Tool Steel is heat treated to 45-50 HRC, offering the optimal toughness you want in an ax. The head is hammer forge finished with a polished edge for reduced friction in splitting, chopping and felling.

Handle: The solid American Hickory handle gives the axe a 34″ overall length, delivering plenty of leverage for full-length swings needed for chopping and splitting larger pieces with minimal effort.
