This axe pattern makes an efficient, multipurpose tool that can handle chopping, felling and splitting with ease. The Swedish Pattern Axe comes with a high quality leather bit cover for safe carry. The classic, curved handle design ensures a smooth swing and ergonomically efficient operation to keep you chopping until the completion of the task.
Head: 1060 Carbon Tool Steel is heat treated to 45-50 HRC, offering the optimal toughness you want in an ax. The head is hammer forge finished with a polished edge for reduced friction in splitting, chopping and felling.
Handle: The solid American Hickory handle gives the axe a 34″ overall length, delivering plenty of leverage for full-length swings needed for chopping and splitting larger pieces with minimal effort.
