Gerber Gator Combo Axe II with Saw & Sheath 22-41420

The Gator Combo Axe II from Gerber was designed with hikers and campers in mind delivering a lightweight powerhouse combination with a longer handled axe for serious chopping and a 6 inch cross cut saw for fast and efficient work. Both saw an axe are equipped with the popular and high traction Gator Grip rubber over mold over highly durable glass-filled nylon for the best combination of durability and light weight. A nylon sheath is included for belt carry of the axe while the saw is retained in the hollow handle via magnets with a rubber cap for added security.

Head/Blade: A simple, full tang, corrosion resistant forged steel head offers durability and performance in an easy to maintain platform. A wide grind enhances chopping and splitting performance and enhances the durability for heavy chopping. The exposed hammer pole delivers added utility for driving stakes. The full length saw has extra sharp cross cut teeth that make fast work of smaller branches and limbs as well as saplings.

Handles: The longer handles have the Gator grip rubber overmold that gives a balanced blend of traction for security while still allowing for maneuverability and comfort. The extended handle length gives extra leverage for added chopping power. The handle of the axe has been designed to allow for a close grip great for fine cutting tasks and the saw has a neutral grip design for control and comfort in multiple grips while being secure in the hand.

The saw fits securely in the handle of the axe and a nylon sheath is included for carry.
