The Pack Hatchet from Gerber was designed with hikers and campers in mind delivering a slim and compact camping axe that cuts down the weight without sacrificing performance. The robust, full tang head is fitted into a rubber overmold handle for a balance of control and security.

The Head: A simple, full tang stainless steel head offers durability and performance in an easy to maintain platform. A thinner grind enhances chopping performance and allow the Pack Hatchet to be utilized for finer cutting tasks as well. The hammer pole and exposed tang at the pommel offer added utility while the heavy stonewash finish hides wear from use over time.

The Handle: The sage green handle has a rubber overmold that gives a balanced blend of traction for security while still allowing the hatchet to be maneuverable for comfort and utility. The tang of the axe near the head has been designed to allow for a close grip great for fine cutting tasks. A nylon sheath is included for carry and handle is equipped with a generous hole for lanyard attachment.
