The Agdor 28 Montreal has a traditional curved 28-inch American Hickory handle, 2.5-pound “Montreal” pattern head with Agdor blue painted finish and traditional protective leather sheath handcrafted in Waynesville, N.C. Designed for felling small to medium-sized trees, the Agdor 28 Montreal has wider cheeks (i.e. thicker toward the edge) and longer edge from toe to heel for powerful splitting and deep chopping cuts with a very manageable size. The 28 Montreal also makes a great competitive throwing axe!
