Morakniv Kansbol Fixed Bushcraft Knife Multi-Mount Burnt Orange

Blade: The blade of the Kansbol consists of your typical scandi grind, but with a large profile ground into the front half for more detailed chores. It is made from quality Swedish stainless steel which will hold a decent edge and still be easy to sharpen in the field. The spine of the knife is ground flat for firestarting and everything comes scary sharp from the Mora factory in Sweden.

Handle: Mora has always been known for making comfortable handles and the Kansbol really shines here. The handle is made from a durable polymer with a diamond pattern and well rounded grip. We tend think of it as just the right blend of ergonomics and texture. A single slot is present toward the end of the handle which can be used for a lanyard or attaching your favorite fire starter.

Sheath: This multi-mount model comes with a standard polymer sheath along with the normal hook and loop holster. It also comes with the multi mount system, a sheath backing which is completely MOLLE compatible and can also be configured to work with other popular systems. The mutli-mount model also comes with a leather strap which acts as secondary lock and will hold up well to repeated wear and tear.

Sandvik 12c27: 12c27 is a high purity Swedish stainless steel with excellent edge performance allowing for razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. In addition to knives 12c27 is used in high-end ice skate blades and ice drills. Working hardness range is 54-61 HRC depending on the end use.
