Based on the Vietnam Tomahawk, an unusual weapon in its time, the Tactical Tomahawk from SOG is a modern interpretation of this timeless tool. A versatile tool for breaching, excavation, obstacle removal, extraction, and a number of other utility applications. A hardcased black 420 stainless steel head is mounted to the fiberglass reinforced nylon handle with heavy-duty bolts and a steel ferrule for stability while being lightweight and fast in the hand. Side hammer checkering insures precise placement when pounding offering added versatility to this already versatile tool.

Head: Made from tough 420 stainless steel, the head is black hardcase coated for a discreet look while the wedge-like grinds are satin finished for performance. Holes in the head reduce the overall weight and provide exceptional balance while the spike pole makes this hawk highly effective from both sides. Checkering at the eye allows for effective use as a hammer when needed.

Handle: A black glass-reinforced nylon handle has milled grooves for traction while still being fast in the hand. A generous hole at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment while the head is attached via heavy-duty bolts with a steel ferrule for added strength.

Carries via an included nylon belt sheath with snap closure.
