The Brothers of Bushcraft are a coalition of North Americans who have come together to share in their vast knowledge of wilderness living skills. They have teamed up with TOPS Knives to design what they see as an ideal and effective wilderness survival knife in the form of the TOPS B.O.B. Fieldcraft knife. Compact enough for belt carry, the B.O.B. Fieldcraft comes packed with features including a 3/16” full tang construction suitable for heavy use. Other features include a bow drill divot, thumb scallops and an exposed pommel with Ferro rod scraper. This version comes with a black traction coated 1095 carbon steel blade and tan canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The beefy carbon steel blade is black traction coated on the spine and flats for a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish. The modified Scandi grind that does all the woodcraft tasks you want while being easier to maintain. The generous belly of this blade works well for skinning tasks as well.

Handle: The full tang construction supports generous scales of contoured Micarta over fiber liners for comfort and style. Tough and weather resistant, the Micarta scales deliver traction even when wet, with a neutral design for versatility. Thumb scallops near the hilt offer control during fine work, and the exposed pommel can be used as an impact and fire making tool. Includes piggyback ferrocerium rod.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with rotating spring clip.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. Differential heat treat can deliver a harder edge and tougher spine for enhanced performance.
